The flight display
It started with a lot of historic aircraft, most of them having done their service within the French Air Force. Spitfire, Bearcat, Hellcat, Venom, Fouga Magister, to name some of them.This presentations were followed by a good mix of jet powered aircraft of the French and foreign Air Forces and the Aerobatic Teams.
The French flew their 2 two-ship teams, the Voltige Victor with Mirage F-1 and the Raffin Mike (2 Jaguars), an Alphe Jet, a Super Etendard of the French navy, Mirage 2000, and even an E-3 AWACS made a fly-by!Foreign contributions came from Sweden with the Viggen and a C-130 Hercules, Germany with the Tornado (unfortunately the show of the Phantom had to be cancelled due to security measures), Austria with the Draken and a Danish F-16.
Bien sur the Patrouille de France was present that day, but the excellent presentations of the Royal Jordanian Falcons, the Marche Verte from Morocco, the Patrouille Suisse and the Turkish Stars have to be mentioned as well.
Unfortunately the sun changed to the other side of the runway during the day, so photography became more difficult in the late afternoon, but now you are invited to enjoy the photos!
