 Le Bourget 2007Where? Paris - Le Bourget

The Salon du Bourget - or in English "Paris Air Show" - is the world's biggest aeronautical trade fair. Well known for the large variety of displayed aircraft and traffic jams all around the area the 47th edition in 2007 made no exception. After the big hype of the first public appearance of the Airbus A380 in 2005 new highlights

 Falcon 7Xwere rare, only the appearance of the Bell Agusta BA609 caused some attention on the technological side, and the thrust-vectored MiG-29 OVT on the military and noisy side.Besides that nothing spectacular happened regarding the hardware, but nevertheless it was very interesting to walk around and discover many interesting aircraft. As usual the opening of the show on Monday was under presence of a high French politician, this time France’s Prime Minister François Fillon.
